No. Guests open your link, write their name and message, and send. Only you need an account to create and manage the guestbook.

Who can see the messages?

Only you, until you approve them. Approved messages show on the guestbook page if you choose; you can turn that off. Guestbook pages are hidden from search engines.

How do I stop spam?

Every message waits for your approval, links are blocked, and repeated or automated posts are limited. You can close the guestbook at any time.
